Here we have a variety of new prototype devices I’ve been working on over the past year to offer improved functionality and brightness options for all Stickerlight customers.
The models with the A designation have two lighting modes; on and sound activated. The tradeoff is that the sound activated mode lights up the entire panel together as one segment instead of progressively in five sections like the stock and tiny hub do in their sound activated modes.
The models with the B designation have just one lighting mode; sound activated. This sound activated mode takes advantage of all five segments of your Stickerlight which results in a more dynamic sound activated mode when compared to the sound activated mode in the A models. While the B models don’t have a steady on function, if you’re in a very loud environment and leave the microphone sensitivity to the minimum, it should keep the entire Stickerlight on and emulate the on function which is available in the other devices.
How long the internal battery will last is directly related to which brightness setting you use for your Stickerlight as well as whether or not you’re also simultaneously using the device to also power your laptop.
You should only plug and unplug the device while it’s turned off. There is a risk of shock if you touch the exposed pins while the device is activated.
